The Autodesk® BIM 360™ Layout app for iOS, in conjunction with the BIM 360™ web service, offers vertical construction contractors a valuable tool for integrating coordinated models into the field layout process. This integration aims to enhance job site productivity and improve the precision of staked or installed building components.

The application works seamlessly with your BIM 360 account, allowing for the downloading and uploading of project models complete with point location coordinate details. When paired with a total station, BIM 360 Layout on an iPad™ provides users with precise navigation to the designated locations on the job site for field staking and location verification tasks.

 <li>Leica iCON robots 50, 60, 70, and 80</li>

 <li>Share and Collaborate:</li>
 <ul>
 <li>Assign layout points from BIM 360 Glue Web to the BIM 360 Layout app.</li>
 <li>Download models and point data for offline field use.</li>
 <li>Sync and share collected or as-built points from the app back to BIM 360 Glue web.</li>
 <li>Upload models with layout points created in Autodesk Point Layout directly from AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks into BIM 360 Glue, then sync to the BIM 360 Layout app.</li>

<li>Robotic Total Station Controller:</li>

 <li>Provides a streamlined connection to total station hardware.</li>
 <li>Enables remote control of the total station using guide and point-turn functionalities.</li>
 <li>Features a guided setup routine for the total station with coaching marks for each feature.</li>

<li>User Interface and Navigation:</li>

 <li>Select levels and locations in a 2D environment while navigating directly to them in a 3D model view.</li>
 <li>Offers an immersive first-person view of the building model as users traverse the job site.</li>
 <li>Optimized views facilitate visibility of the total station, prism, selected points, and features auto-zoom capabilities in both 2D & 3D modes as users approach points.</li>
